Cacao & roses for an open heart
Rose and cacao create a wonderful combination with a rounded, soft flavor accompanied with a heart-opening effect. Rose tea has traditionally been enjoyed for its various aesthetic and medicinal benefits.It is known to help relieve pain during periods. The tea may also aid digestion and help in the treatment of anxiety and diabetes. Much of these benefits could be attributed to the rich phytochemicals in the tea.
Cacao is known as a powerful heart opener and roses are said to bring love, healing and compassion. It is amazing if your intention is to cultivate self-love or you wish to share a ritual with your significant other.
The recipe goes as follows.
Makes 1 serving
- 4 tablespoons of chopped Cosmic Cacao
- 1 cup of rose tea
- 1 teaspoon of raw honey or maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- Brew food grade rose petals for 10 minutes in hot water.
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy.
- Start on low speed, slowly increasing to high while allowing intentioning your cacao.
- Pour the cacao in a special cup. Add rose petals on top.
- Hold it in front of your heart with gratitude and enjoy!
