Morning Cacao and Banana Smoothie
What a better way to start your day then by giving your body and soul an energy boost in the morning?
Cacao comes from the seed of a fruit tree called Mother Cacao. This superfood contains plant-based protein, good fats & healthy carbs. It is high on antioxidants, magnesium, iron , manganese, chromium and anandamide which is also known as the bliss chemical. As a result it improves your cardiovascular health, strong bones, works as a natural aphrodisiac, and can elevate your mood. Unlike cocoa, cacao is left raw leaving its enzymes and many other nutrients intact.
Bananas! What goodness is in a banana? This tropical fruit is rich in vitamin B6, a great source of vitamin C, and is packed with dietary fibre, potassium and manganese. Bananas are also fat-free, cholesterol-free and virtually sodium-free. They are known for aiding digestion and help with gastrointestinal issues.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 1
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp of grinded Cosmic Cacao
1 tbsp of peanut butter
1 dash of cinnamon
PREPARATION
Blend all ingredients until smooth; serve cold.
